About Us

About The Warburton Trust

The Warburton Trust was set up last year as a tribute to a very brave man, who overcame many great obstacles in his life GRAHAM A WARBURTON.

He adapted to living as normal a life as possible  -  dependant on a ventilator, he was a happy, jolly person  -  out most days on outings and picnics, he also enjoyed holidays all round Britain.

His love for life and his bravery, has inspired us to help people in similar situations to be at home with their families with the dignity they deserve.

The Nature and Purpose of the Trust

The nature of the trust is to provide a helpline for people with disabilities of any nature, with the aim of living in their own homes, to advise where and how to access advice and care packages, (Not residential or nursing homes or hospital) with the emphasis of trying to help access the equipment they need, advice on holidays or disability vehicles etc.

Fund Raising
The fund raising will look at equipping the Community High Dependance Team (that already exists under the umbrella of the North West Wales N.H.S Trust) with equipment, to enable them to provide a safe, comfortable package within the home setting, therefore minimizing admission to hospital if such a procedure or monitoring may be done at home.

 Tribute to Graham

The purpose of the trust is to pay tribute to Mr Graham Warburton who was ventilator dependant and still lived life to the full at home in the community he loved.  He was a very a brave man, also a true gentleman, who was and is an inspiration to others.

All equipment obtained through The Trust will contain Graham’s plaque to show how others have benefited though his courage.

Web Site

As the web site www thewarburtontrust.co.uk is being constructed, please feel free to email us, with any suggestions which you think would benefit The Trust.  Feedback on our helpline , ways of fund raising, help or ideas you can give which will be investigated at our meetings with a view to improving it and the service we want to provide.

We, as a committee, would like to thank you all for your ongoing support and feel you should be proud of playing  your part in helping people in the your community.  Thank you once again.
