Warbi Night (2)
Noson WARBI (2)

We, The Warburton Trust, wish to thank the entertainers and organizers for putting on such a successful evening’s entertainment.

We would also like to thank you, the members of the public and friends, for attending this wonderful evening and raising the grand sum of £166 for the Trust

It was a brilliant evening - the entertainment was first class.

The entertainers gave their time free of charge and as usual made us all proud

Well done all of you

A special thanks to Gareth and Rhian once again for arranging the 2nd Warbi night in Graham’s memory - a job well done as usual.  Because of other events and commitments many were unable to attend and support us.

After paying out goings and expenses for the night we raised the grand sum of £166.  This is helping us to get even closer to our target of purchasing equipment for the High Dependency Team out in the community.

We know Graham was with us there in spirit and would have been pleased to see all the wonderful people supporting our cause in his memory.

Thank you for joining us in such a special evening

The Trust would not grow without your support.

Thank you once again

We would like to thank:

The staff of
North Wales Housing

for donating £140.00.

Their
offices are  based in Llandudno Junction and Bangor and this money was collected from a series of "Dress Down Friday's" for charity.  These took place on the last Friday of each month over the three months, May, June & July 2009.  A special thanks to all those who took part and gave their special gift to our good cause.

Also:

Sep 2009

A big thank you to Roy and Jane at the Mountain View Hotel, Penmaenmawr, for putting a collection pot on their bar last year for The Warburton Trust.
Karen and Richard asked if they would support the Trust which they gladly did.  Recently the pot was emptied and counted and the total raised was £137 .43p for The Trust

We would also like to thank Karen and Richard for approaching the Mountain View and arranging the collection, not forgetting all those patrons of the Mountain View who filled the pot for the Trust.

We don't know where we would be without the monetary support of all those people who have donated.

Thank you all very much.

Charity Summer Ball 2009

The ball was a complete success and everyone had a wonderful time.

The live band, New Born, gave a marvellous performance for us once again.

Our thanks go to the St George’s Hotel, Llandudno, for treating us so well and for such a splendid venue and the excellent food.

The Warburton Trust wish to thank everyone for supporting us at the ball and for donating the raffle prizes and for buying raffle tickets .

We would like to thank Deganwy After School Club for allowing us to partner them in this event and splitting the proceeds after paying off all the expenses.

The proceeds raised for the Warburton Trust amounted to £725.  This includes donations given by Graham’s family, friends and the monies raised on the night.

We would like to thank the following:
Dodrefn Perkins Caernarfon - Celtica the Docks - Greenwood Centre
– Portmeirion - Bodysgallen Hall - Warburton’s Bread - B K Williams Garage Caernarfon –  all friends and family who donated raffle prizes.

We are only a few pounds away from reaching our target of £5,000 to become a registered charity.  Our committee meetings are on hold at present as our chairperson has been involved in a serious road accident and we are waiting for her health to improve before we embark on future projects.  We hope that won’t be too far away.  This will also delay our quest to decide what piece of equipment will be obtained for the H.D.T. out in the community.

Thank you all once again - without your support we would not have been able to raise the necessary funds to obtain this equipment.  As soon as the decision has been made we will notify you all.

Warbi's Night

The coffee evening which was held on 12th December 2008 at Feed the Lambs in Caernarfon was well attended considering the appalling weather.  There was a spendid flower arranging demonstration given free of charge by June Baglin who kindly gave the arrangement towards the raffle.

The proceeds raised on the night amounted to £300.  The Warbi Trust would like to thank all those who braved the weather to help make the night such a great success.  See local press for report.

A donation can be made to The Warbi Trust at anytime via the web site by emailing   Funds@ThewarburtonTrust.co.uk

All to boost the Warburton Trust Funds to enable the purchase of equipment for high dependency patients in their own homes.

Last Friday 7th November 2008 we had a Fairy night,  when 10 gorgeous girls paraded through Caernarfon Town granting wishes with their Fairy Wands.  What a sight and what an effort they made and collected £160 for the fund – Well done girls – can’t wait to see the photos  which will be on this page as soon as they are available.

A car boot sale at Llandegai which was held on Sunday 26th October collected £97 .91p

Our first fundraising event realised

£1,476.59p

All proceeds have been transferred to The Graham Warburton Memorial Fund.  The fund will be used to purchase medical equipment to enable high dependency patients to live at home with their family and friends and enjoy the respect and dignity they deserve.
